The ongoing efforts of Green Line Sustainable Transport committee to lobby for a National Land Transport Strategy is coupled with a series of events helping in the achievement of the campaign goals. The upcoming events are:

- Photography competition: The Sustainable Transport committee is organizing a photography competition with the following topics:
1. Pollution caused by the transport sector
2. Modes of sustainable transport 
This competition targets both amateurs and professional photographers and will run until the end of November 2003. 
All pictures taken will be exposed starting December 15, 2003.
Valuable prizes will be awarded to the photographers of the three best pictures, chosen by a jury from the Syndicate of Photographers.

- National Survey: Green Line is in the process of developing a survey to understand the effect of land transport regulations and performance on the travel behavior of the Lebanese community, which helps develop a clear vision on how congestion problems in Lebanon can be solved. This survey will address the following questions:
Who uses which modes of transport?
How is this travel behavior related to the performance and conditions of the various available modes of transport?
