Green Line celebrates its 10th anniversary

 

  • Workshop on Quarries “ Economic Necessity or Environmental Threat”

  • Preparation of the Biodiversity Assessment of the Yammouneh Reserve

  • Collaborating with the parliamentary committee on a decree proposal of air pollution caused by land transport

  • Establishment of Biocoop Lubnan , cooperative for organic farmers in Lebanon

  • Green Line and MEDSOS organize a photo exhibition introducing photos taken by international photographs on Water, Land, Coast, Inhabitants, Threats and Coexistence.

  • Green Line collaborates with Greenpeace on “the right to know” campaign (Right of the public to know about the industrial pollution of the Lebanese coast).

  • Colloquium to inform the public about the achievements of the Sustainable Management of the Lebanese Coast - DAC project: Documentary about the current status of the Lebanese coast and a report on the current status of the Lebanese coast with a suggestive “Code of Good Practice for the Sustainable Management of the Lebanese Coast ”.

  • Second national workshop: Organic Agriculture in the Middle East and the Side Effects of Chemical Fertilizers and Synthetic Pesticides

  • The first intern, Kate, a nutrition student at Tufts University – Boston joins Green Line in the summer period.
