ACHIEVEMENTS
Green Line organized a regional meeting on the “Status
and Potentials of Renewable Energy Technologies in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt
and Jordan” from 9-10 February 2007 in Beirut with the active
participation of representatives of NGOs/CSOs from the above-mentioned
countries, Iran and Morocco. The meeting was basically designed to share
information and ideas between the participant organizations on the status
of renewable energy in their countries and discuss, as focal
organizations, the potentials for a practical cooperation among them that
will lead to the promotion of this energy technology.
Green Line Association initiated a project entitled “Promoting Renewable
Energies in
Lebanon: A Model Village in Reconstruction and Development Process” with
the support of the Heinrich Boell Foundation, Middle East Office.
Green Line finalized
a Desk Study on the Status and Potentials of Renewable Energy Technologies
in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan and Palestine.
